SUBMERGENCE DETECTING SYSTEM FOR ELEVATOR

PURPOSE: A flooding detection system for an elevator is provided to effectively cope with flooding by detecting whether an elevator pit is flooded or not in real time. CONSTITUTION: A flooding detecting system for an elevator comprises an flooding detector(1), a first controller(2), and a second controller(3). The flooding detector detects whether an elevator pit(100) is flooded or not. The first controller outputs flooding information after analyzing flooding signals receiving from the flooding detector. The second controller transmits boarding car rising signals to a control board(700) after analyzing the flooding information receiving from the first controller. A boarding car(200) is moved to the upper part of the elevator pit right after the elevator pit is flooded so that the boarding car can be maintained in a dry state even in case that the elevator pit is flooded.
