PURPOSE: An intake and exhaust device for an air compressor, having simplified structure is provided to improve compression efficiency through a short intake flow passage and exhaust flow passage reaching to a compression cylinder from an intake valve and an exhaust valve.;CONSTITUTION: An intake and exhaust device for an air compressor, having simplified structure is composed of a cylinder head(10), an intake valve(20), and a exhaust valve(30). A mounting groove in the cylinder head is connected to an exhaust flow passage(14) and an exhaust port(15). The intake valve comprises a valve housing(21), an elastic member, an air intake side return valve, and a finishing plug(26). The finishing plug is inserted in an opening portion and a valve seat in an intake hole.
