PURPOSE: An explosion preventing device for a crank case of an engine is provided to prevent the explosion of oil vapor as the mist in the crank case is totally discharged to the outside and inert gas is injected.;CONSTITUTION: An explosion preventing device for a crank case of an engine comprises an inert gas supply unit(40). The inert gas supply unit is connected to a crank case(12) installed in a lower part of an engine block for ships by connection pipe(41), and supplies the inert gas for preventing an explosion. A control valve(43) is installed in the inert gas supply unit, and controls the supply of the inert gas to the connection pipe. The control valve is controlled by a timer.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
