PURPOSE: A composition for skin external application having antioxidant activity which contains lotus extracts and smoked dry plum extracts is provided to enhance skin erythema prevention, skin tone improvement, and anti-aging. CONSTITUTION: A composition for skin external application having antioxidant activity contains lotus extracts and smoked dry plum extracts as active ingredient. 0.001-10 weight% of the lotus extract is contained based on the total weight of the composition. 0.001-10 weight% of smoked dry plum extract is contained based on the total weight of the composition. The extract is obtained by dipping the raw material into an organic solvent and filtering, reducing pressure and concentrating thereof. The organic solvent is C1-C4 anhydrous or hydrous alcohol, acetone, ethyl acetate, chloroform, glycerine, propylene glycol or butylene glycol. The composition is used for skin erythema prevention or skin tone improvement. The composition is used for skin anti-aging.
