PURPOSE: A low-temperature sintering method of zirconium diboride based powder is provided to sinter the zirconium diboride based powder under 1700deg.C without using sintering material by pre-treating which generates defection inside the zirconium diboride based powder. CONSTITUTION: A low-temperature sintering method of zirconium diboride based powder comprises the following steps: vacuum sealing the zirconium diboride(ZrB2) powder or zirconium diboride(ZrB2) based composite powder(s100); prompting mechanical defect inside the zirconium diboride(ZrB2) powder or zirconium diboride(ZrB2) based composite powder which is zirconium diboride-silicon carbide(ZrB2-SiC)(s200); and sintering by spark plasma sintering method(s300). The sintering step is performed at 1400-1700deg.C under pressure of 40-120MPa and the step of prompting defect is a mechanical milling process.
