A system and a method for monitoring a cultivation environment of agricultural products are provided to improve the quality of the agricultural products by providing cultivation environment information to a user at a field or through the Internet in real-time via an RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) and USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network) system, and controlling the cultivation environment automatically based on the collected information. More than one sensor node(110) obtains environment data by sensing circumference environment of agricultural products. A base node(120) collects the environment data sensed through the sensor node and sensor networking. An environment controller(130) controls a cultivation environment through the base node and sensor networking. An RFID tag(140) stores the environment data and history data. An RFID reader(150) is capable of wireless communication, displays agricultural product data stored in the RFID tag to a user and transmits the data to a database server(171) by recognizing the RFID tag. The database server stores the agricultural product data by connecting to the base node and the RFID reader. A web server(172) provides the agricultural product data to a client by connecting to the database server and the Internet.
