PURPOSE: A secondary battery protection circuit is provided to monitor resistance characteristic of a fuse included within a second battery protection circuit in an assembly process of the second battery protection circuit and battery cells. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery protection circuit capable of itself monitoring of fuse faults comprises: a fuse(80) connected to a circuit route flowing charging current or discharging current; a sense resistance(70) connected to a circuit route flowing charging current or discharging current; and a micro controller(100). The micro controller calculates fuse resistance by sensing both end voltage and the current flowing through the sense resistance and outputs fault generation signals.
