PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus of collecting insects is provided to effectively collects insects by using wind power generated before a train passes through a tunnel, and to use not only wind power but also solar light power. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus of collecting insects comprises an insect protector(110), a support arm(120), a core motor(130), a housing(140), a central horizontal rotation part(150), a propeller(160), and an electrical shock device(170). The insect protection comprises a foldable part and a plate part, and collects insects by using wind power formed by a train. A support arm comprises a cylinder, and a support arm hole, maintains the insect protector to be vertical, and connects to a connection line formed in the insect protector. The core motor comprises a core motor hole in a lower part, and controls the insect protector to form specific angle from a horizontal line. The housing is formed to collect insects into the housing. The central horizontal rotation part controls the location of the support arm toward orthogonal direction from the horizontal pane. The propeller rotates even in state a control device not receiving control signals. The electrical shock device electrically kills dropped insects.
