PURPOSE: A carbon dioxide torch powered by microwaves and its applications are provided to generate synthetic gas by using a carbon dioxide by generating carbon dioxide plasma touch. CONSTITUTION: In a carbon dioxide torch powered by microwaves and its applications, magnetron radiates electromagnetic wave. A power supply unit supplies the power to the magnetron. A circulator outputs the electromagnetic wave. The circulator absorbs the reflected wave reflected to the magnetron. A directional coupler monitors the intensity of incident wave and reflection wave. A stub tuner controls the intensity of the reflection wave and the incident wave and matches the impedance. A discharge tube produces plasma through electromagnetic wave and carbon dioxide vortex gas. A carbon dioxide supply unit supplies the carbon dioxide vortex gas to the discharge tube.
