Halophilic Bacillus licheniformis strain promoting salt stress tolerance in plant and uses thereof

PURPOSE: A halophilic Bacillus licheniformis RS656 which enhances salt stress tolerance is provided to increase plant productivity in a reclaimed land. CONSTITUTION: A halophilic Bacillus licheniformis enhances salt stress tolerance in a plant. The strain is halophilic Bacillus licheniformis RS656(KACC 91566P). A microorganism formulation for enhancing salt stress tolerance contains the strain or culture liquid thereof as an active ingredient. A method for enhancing salt stress tolerance comprises a step of dipping or drenching the strain into a plant or seeds of the plant.
