FIELD: process engineering.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric processing, particularly, to electric spark hardening and reclaiming of steel surfaces of work-out parts. Proposed method comprises electric spark processing of steel surfaces wherein carbon dioxide is fed into space between alloying electrode made from T15K6 hard alloy. Note here that working current in maintained in the range of 1.3-2.4 A, voltage amplitude is kept in the range of 48-67 V at pulse frequency of 400 Hz. Discharge duration τ makes 44-76 mcs and processing interval equals 2-3 min/cm2.;EFFECT: larger thickness of built-up layer with higher micro hardness and wear resistance.;1 dwg
