A projectile charging mechanism comprises a mechanised projectile storage, a device to feed projectiles on the ramming line into a tight projectile tray with a lock and a rammer arranged in the form of a compressed air source connected via a receiver and a quick-acting valve, with the time of actuation of around 0.001 sec., with a cavity of a rear part of the tray between the tray lock and the base.
