The method involves equipping a balance (1) and/or insert (7) of a bogie beam assembly (100) with an elastic maintaining unit (10) in form of an elastic lever (13) for authorizing insertion of the insert into a housing (8) in an insertion position in which the unit is stressed, and for prohibiting extraction of the insert outside the housing in a maintaining position in which the unit is released. The insert is inserted into the housing by restricting the unit in the insertion position. The unit is released to the maintaining position after complete insertion of the insert into the housing. An independent claim is also included for a timepiece comprising a hair spring or a balance or a bogie beam assembly. The timepiece includes felloe, junction surface and hub formed from a single block of micro-machinable material, silicon, quartz, or silicon or quartz compounds, or an alloy issued from Microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) technology or obtained by lithography, electroforming and molding (LIGA) process.
