Fuel jet penetration designing method for internal combustion engine, involves determining value for each parameter of dimensioning, and obtaining optimal value of dimensioning target size for fuel jet penetration in engine
The method involves defining a dimensioning boundary condition for a fuel jet penetration, and defining a dimensioning target for fuel jet penetration. A dimensioning target size that affects a dimensioning parameter e.g. spraying hole length, is defined, and a Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm is utilized for static and/or dynamic tasks. A value for each parameter of dimensioning is determined by taking the dimensioning boundary condition into account. An optimal value of the dimensioning target size is obtained for the fuel jet penetration in an internal combustion engine (1).
