The component (10) has a base plate (12) comprising a mounting portion (16), which is connected with a carrier structure (20) of an aircraft to secure the component. A foldable membrane (26) comprises a retaining portion (28), which is arranged in a region of a base section (14) of the base plate. A connection section (32) of the membrane is folded from a position, in which the connection section is folded toward the retaining portion, into another position, in which the connection section in the mounting portion is extended over a surface area (24) of the base plate.
