The disc brake has a brake piston (7) mounted at brake housing (2). The piston is fitted in a recess of the brake housing. A wear detection element is movably mounted in the brake housing, to change wear-conditional layer change of friction lining (4). An indication unit (12) is provided in operative connection with the wear detection element, to indicate wear state of friction lining.
