The device (1) has a partial chamber (10) pressurized with dynamic pressure (ps) of a flowing medium (K) through a channel (37). Static pressure (p0) is obtained in another partial chamber (12) through another channel (52). A piston (6) is axially displaced in a direction of force, which is exerted from the flowing medium, against an effect of a spring (24). A position of the piston is a measure for pressure difference obtained between the two partial chambers. The piston is displaceably supported by the pressure difference only in an active direction of the dynamic pressure.
