The method involves injecting a preset quantity of plastic melt into a mold cavity of a molding tool with multiple cores at a cavity wall for producing blind holes (2). Fluid e.g. air, is introduced into unhardened plastic. The plastic is distributed in the mold cavity of the molding tool under formation of a central hollow space (3). The blind holes are defined on wall sections of a brush body (1). The hollow space between the wall sections of the brush body is designed to be free from the blind holes. The blind holes are provided for accommodating bristles bundles. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for injection-molding of a brush body (2) a brush comprising a brush body.
