The sensor (100) has a cell element (10) and a housing element (20) threaded to each other or positioned relative to each other, so that the cell element is connected with the housing element in a fluid tight manner. The cell element includes a ceramic membrane (1), where the cell membrane and/or the cell element are made from high temperature multi-layer ceramic. Fluid-side cavities between the cell element and the housing element are hermetically sealed with a sealing compound. The fluid-side cavities are filled with sealing material (6) such as ceramic adhesive or glass solder or plastic. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a sensor.
