The device has a ventilator arranged to move air into a cooled inner space or into a partial area of the inner space. A temperature sensor measures temperature of the air in the cooled inner space. A control unit operates the ventilator if a cooling assembly is not operated and the measured temperature exceeds a limit value. The limit value lies between a switching-on value and a switching-off value of the cooling assembly. The ventilator is operated during dwell time of the cooling assembly with less rotational speed.
