The dynamo-electric machine has stator (1) comprising laminated core (2) with axially extending grooves (3) which are opened to a stator hole (6). A return conductor of coil is located outwardly in grooves. An insulation section is provided between outgoing and return conductors in a state surrounding the return conductor of groove walls. An overlap portion of insulation section is provided at the bottom (4) of groove in a state facing the side of conductor of coils. An independent claim is included for method for manufacturing stator of dynamo-electric machine.
