The stator (10) has a stator laminated core assembled from stator teeth (20) and a stator frame (40) and provided with a stator outer periphery (48) and a stator inner periphery (49). A stator winding (80) is attached on the stator teeth of the stator laminated core before assembling the stator teeth and the stator frame to the stator laminated core. A foot section (22) forms a region in the stator outer periphery of the stator laminated core. The foot section is formed in dove-tail shape and comprises a notch, and a retainer retains permanent magnets (M1, M2).
