The stator (10) has stator parts comprising a stator frame (40) and two opposing stator teeth (20). Multiple magnets (M1, M2) e.g. permanent magnets, are arranged at the stator teeth. The stator teeth include a recess i.e. axially extending groove, for holding the magnets. The stator teeth comprise a dovetail-shaped floor area for connecting the stator parts, and a pole horn faces geometric center of the stator frame. The recess for the magnets is provided in the pole horn, and a stator lamination packet is made of slat-shaped sheet metal and assembled with the stator parts.
