The apparatus has a support plate (106) for flush-mounting arrangement of the apparatus at a house wall, a cable pit and/or a furniture piece. A receiving section (117) wirelessly receives data and/or control signals and is designed as a Bluetooth receiveror a 2.4 gigahertz receiver. A connection strip (116) connects an external load at the device. Two printed circuit boards (107, 110) are arranged at front and rear housings (109, 111), respectively. The front housing comprises a tab with a detent that engages into a recess of the rear housing. An independent claim is also included for a system for transmission of data and/or control signals.
