The crash sensor comprises a tube (3) with a hollow space, which is elastically deformable in an event of a collision. A pressure sensor is provided for detecting the pressure change in the hollow space of the tube. The pressure sensor is provided with a connection tube piece at the housing, where the tube is fastened on the connection tube piece by a clamping unit, which is a steel tongue cable connector. The tube is released from the connection tube piece by destruction of the clamping unit.
