The circuit (1) has voltage divider that divides voltage into reference voltage (Ur) and inductance or capacitance measuring voltage (Um). The measurement input (3) of comparator (4) is selectively switched with voltage measuring switch (8) and reference voltage switch (9). The reference input (10) of comparator (4) is connected with microcontroller (13) through digital-analog converter (11). The voltage (U) at reference input of comparator is adjusted by microcontroller so that voltage at reference input of comparator approximately corresponds to reference voltage. An independent claim is included for evaluation method for determining inductance or capacitance of electrical component.
