Microcapsule, useful for preparing an anti-freeze coating, comprises an outer sheath, a volume, which is enclosed by the outer sheath, an active ingredient, and a small microcapsule comprising a shell and a control agent
The microcapsule comprises an outer sheath (14), a volume (16), which is enclosed by the outer sheath, an active ingredient (12), and a small microcapsule (18). The small microcapsule: comprises a shell (20), a control agent, and a space, which is enclosed by the shell of the small microcapsule; and is convenient in dependence of an environmental condition exposed to influence a release behavior of the active ingredient into an environment of the microcapsule. The environmental condition has a temperature exposed to the microcapsule, and/or strength of a magnetic field. The microcapsule comprises an outer sheath (14), a volume (16), which is enclosed by the outer sheath, an active ingredient (12), and a small microcapsule (18). The small microcapsule: comprises a shell (20), a control agent, and a space (24), which is enclosed by the shell of the small microcapsule; and is convenient in dependence of an environmental condition exposed to influence a release behavior of the active ingredient into an environment of the microcapsule. The environmental condition has a temperature exposed to the microcapsule, and/or a strength of a magnetic field exposed to the microcapsule. The shell of the small microcapsule: is not chemically attacked by the active ingredient and/or by the control agent; and has despite chemical vulnerability by the active ingredient and/or by the control agent under standard conditions of a half-life of more than one year. Controllability of the release behavior contains a release of the active ingredient in a triggering manner, and a throughput of the release of the active ingredient in an influencing manner. A temperature dependant expansion of the small microcapsule influences the release behavior of the active ingredient. The shell of the small microcapsule is impervious for the active ingredient and/or for the control agent. A bulk modulus of the control agent is 1.5-2.5 GPa. The outer sheath bursts with a differential pressure between a pressure of the environment of an outer microcapsule and a pressure of an interstice (22), which forms between the outer sheath of the microcapsule and the shell of the small microcapsule of 300 hPa. The shell of the small microcapsule bursts with the differential pressure between the pressure of the interstice, which forms between the outer sheath of the microcapsule and the shell of the small microcapsule and is enclosed by the shell of the small microcapsule. The outer sheath comprises the outer microcapsule, and pores whose diameter increases with increasing the pressure of the interstice. The space, which is enclosed by the shell of the small microcapsule, contains water and another substance than water that affects a thermal expansion coefficient of the water. Another substance comprises a material, which changes a freezing point. The outer sheath of the microcapsule and the interstice comprise a mixture of substances with an admixture, where a compressibility of the microcapsule is dependent on a height of a portion of the admixture of the mixture of substances. An independent claim is included for a mixture of substances.
