The indicator has a set of segments arranged in correspondence to nonlinear graduation (1, 1/2, R). Each segment corresponds to decreasing quantity of available energy from largest to smallest. Each segment is deactivated such that available energy decreases. A surface of the active segments corresponds to realistic indication of a quantity of remaining energy, where the surface of the segments is a linear representation of remaining energy. A surface of the largest segment is greater than or equal to three times a surface of the smallest segment.
