An exchanging unit (231) exchanges information with the vehicle to manage charging of the accumulator and control of the motor, where the information comprises activation of a gearbox ratio. An independent claim is also included for a method for recharging an electric energy accumulator for supplying electric energy to an electric motor of a vehicle.
