The method involves providing two rows of foundations on both sides of an explosive device e.g. bomb (1), and digging a trench (2), a ramp and a drift slope that is inclined at an angle of less than 45 degrees in a direction of the explosive device. A transfer structure is established between the foundations above the explosive device. An access tunnel is dug from another access tunnel, where the former access tunnel is provided partly in the transfer structure.
