PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for highly efficiently decontaminating radiation-contaminated soil.SOLUTION: The method for decontaminating radiation-contaminated soil includes: after pulverizing the surface layer of the radiation-contaminated soil, introducing water until the water depth from the soil surface reaches at least 5 cm; stirring the water and the soil surface and leaving them as they are; classifying the soil according to the grain size, precipitating coarse grain fractions, and then removing fine grain fractions.
