PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven medical instrument improved to allow a hand of an operator to take an ergonomically easy posture and to achieve stable guiding of a hand-piece and continuous setting of a prescribed actuation state during an operation.;SOLUTION: The motor-driven medical instrument includes the hand-piece 15, a drivable tool 18, and a motor unit 11 including a setting means 4. The setting means 4 is operated by the parallel advancing or sliding of an actuation element 6 along the hand-piece 15.
