PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for shortening a cycle time in carrousel reel changeover.;SOLUTION: The method for shortening the cycle time in the carrousel reel changeover includes the steps of: making a time point when a metal band is cut by a shearing machine 40 during reeling a metal band S1 with a tension reel 1 of one position A of a carrousel reel 50 as a start point; (a) winding a following metal band S2 after shearing using a belt wrapper 30 around a tension reel 1 of another position B, (b) extracting a leading metal band, (c) changing over the position of the position A and the position B by revolving the carrousel reel 50, (d) handing over a sleeve 2 from a swing arm 3 to a sleeve arm 4, (e) inserting the sleeve 2 through the tension reel 1 of the position B, and (f) swinging a belt wrapper 3 to prepare for the reeling of the position B, wherein the operation step (d) is performed in parallel to the operation step (c).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
