PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save a space by reducing the space for installing an air bag device.;SOLUTION: A fold storing method includes: a side edge sections folding back step of folding side edge sections 12e, 12f so that a passenger side panel 10A is folded back while being folded inside from a state where a vehicle side panel 10B on the bottom and a passenger side panel 10A on the top are superposed while being spread flat; a top side folding step of folding like a roll an upper side portion including a folded back portion toward a lower side portion; a lower side folding step of further folding like a roll the lower side portion ; a both side edge sections folding step of forming a rolled and folded body with whole both side edge sections while folded facing each other; an insertion step of inserting an inflator 20 in between extending portions of the passenger side panel 10A and a vehicle side panel 10B extending outside from the rolled and folded body; and a storing step of storing the rolled and folded body, the passenger side panel 10A, the inflator 20, and the vehicle side panel 10B in this order from an opening side in a retainer 22 from.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
