PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chine type chip resistor which deals with high electric power.;SOLUTION: A chine type chip resistor of this invention includes: an insulation substrate 11; a pair of upper surface electrodes 12a and a pair of rear surface electrodes 12b which are respectively provided at both end parts on an upper surface and a rear surface of the insulation substrate 11; and an upper surface resistive element 13a and a rear surface resistive element 13b that are provided so as to respectively and electrically connect with the pair of upper surface electrodes 12a and the pair of rear surface electrodes 12b. The area of the upper surface resistive element 13a is formed so as to be larger than the area of the rear surface resistive element 13b, and the length of the upper surface resistive element 13a located between the pair of upper electrodes 12a is formed so as to be longer than that of the rear surface resistive element 13b located between the pair of rear surface electrodes 12b.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
