An increasing number of resistor makers in China are focusing on the chip variant, driven by steadily rising demand as convergence and miniaturization continue to influence consumer electronics. More ultracompact PCs, FPDs and smartphones are adopting the semiconductor for its smaller footprint and higher integrateability. The forecast growth rate for the line in the next five year exceeds 10 percent.
