PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for job continuation management for effectively continuing a job which is interrupted by a failure caused in a computer system.SOLUTION: A device for job continuation management includes: a plurality of job execution means for executing jobs; storing means of job management information for storing job identification information, identification information of the job execution means of an executing source, job execution information, and job continuation execution priority in association with each other in job units; and means for job continuation management that, when a failure occurs in any of the job execution means, refers to the storing means of the job management information and forwards the job identification information and the job execution information to any of the job execution means, excluding the job execution means of a failure occurrence source, in sequence starting from the jobs having high job continuation execution priority, with respect to a record in which the identification information of the job execution means coincides with the identification information of the job execution means of the failure occurrence source, in order to enable the job execution means of a forwarding destination to execute job continuation.
