PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio slave unit for meter reading, that is configured to change a meter reading system easily at a low cost.;SOLUTION: A radio slave unit 16 for meter reading of a meter reading system for reading a meter reading value from an LP gas meter 15 through a communication cable 17 and transmitting it to a radio mater unit 13 for meter reading by specific small power radio includes: a storage part 33 loaded with two kinds of software that are slave unit software 31 for handy meter reading and slave unit software 32 for automatic meter reading; and an operation input part 34 for inputting a switching command by a magnet operation from the outside. A handy radio meter reading system 1 is switched to an automatic meter reading system 1A without performing the work of changing the radio slave unit 16 for meter reading of the handy radio meter reading system 1 to a new radio slave unit for meter reading for the automatic meter reading system and connecting it again to the LP gas meter 15.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
