PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake reduction device for transformer that can reduce locking of a transformer in a case of an earthquake and avoid a resonance frequency region of the earthquake while maintaining vibration-proof effects at normal time by enhancing the rotational rigidity of the transformer.;SOLUTION: There is provided an earthquake reduction device 10 for transformer that is elastically supported by a vibration-proof material, the earthquake reduction device 10 for transformer including a pair of absorber portions 13A each having a bolt arm 18 and a first elastic material 19 fitted atop of the bolt arm 18, and a column 14 supporting rear-end sides of bolt arms 18 of the absorber portions 13A. First elastic materials 19 of the pair of absorber portions 13A are horizontally arranged opposite each other across a predetermined gap, and while the elastic materials 19 of the pair of absorber portions 13A are compressed by a predetermined amount, an upper portion 11a of the transformer 11 is elastically supported.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
