PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active oxygen species sensor structure capable of preventing the sensitivity of an active oxygen species sensor from being deteriorated due to so-called interference substances such as an ascorbic acid or a uric acid contained in blood.SOLUTION: An active oxygen species sensor structure is equipped on the distal end of a catheter to be inserted into a blood vessel. The sensor structure includes: a cylindrical body formed to be hollow and having an opening penetrating through the inside and outside, an active oxygen species sensor equipped inside the cylindrical body so that at least a part thereof can extend to the inside of the opening of the cylindrical body, a complex film formed on the surface of the reactive oxygen species sensor, and a first porous film for covering the surface of the complex film which is positioned at the side of the opening of the cylindrical body.
