PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser radar device arrangement angle setting system capable of facilitating setting the scan surface of a laser beam to be in parallel with the ground surface.;SOLUTION: A laser radar device is configured to change the scan surface of a laser beam within 90°. A distance La is measured with the scan surface inclined only by 45° in one direction (S3), and subsequently a distance Lb is measured with the scan surface inclined only by 90° in an opposite direction (S4, S5). An angle θc inclined in a first reference horizontal direction within the ground surface is calculated based on the measurement distances La, Lb (S6), and the scan surface is inclined by the angle of θc (S7). Then, the scan surface is allowed to be perpendicular to the ground surface (S8), and distances Ld1, Ld2 are measured respectively (S10, S11). Based on the measurement result, an angular difference θx till the device becomes in parallel with a second reference horizontal direction while the laser beam is at a reference angle 0° is calculated (S12). Thus, the scan surface is rotated by 90° by inclining a main body for the portion of an angular difference θx toward the ground surface (S14).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
