PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting a moment when an actuator comes into contact with an object, by a current value without using a load cell.;SOLUTION: The method for detecting a contact of an actuator includes: a piezoelectric actuator formed of a combination of a laminated piezoelectric element single body or a laminated piezoelectric element S105 and a displacement magnifying mechanism; an object that is spaced from a predetermined clearance from the piezoelectric actuator and is so disposed that, when a voltage is applied to the piezoelectric actuator, the piezoelectric actuator comes into contact therewith; a drive circuit S101 for supplying the piezoelectric actuator with the voltage; and detecting means S106 for detecting a current flowing from the drive circuit to the piezoelectric actuator. When the drive circuit supplies a continuously changing voltage, the method detects that the piezoelectric actuator comes into contact with the object by a change in the inflow current value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
