PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing polycarbonate resin pellets which can suppress the offensive smell during molding caused by low molecular components remaining in the aromatic polycarbonate resin and also suppress molding defects.;SOLUTION: In producing the aromatic polycarbonate resin pellets produced by reacting a carbonic acid diester with an aromatic dihydroxy compound, the phenol content of the cooling water used in cooling and/or cutting melt-extruded strands of the aromatic polycarbonate resin is brought to be ≤2.0 ppm.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
