MULTI AREA PACING LEAD FOR LEFT CARDIAC CAVITY IMPLANTABLE IN CORONARY VEIN NETWORK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi area pacing lead implantable into a target vein of a coronary vein network for stimulating a left cardiac cavity.SOLUTION: The multi area pacing lead 10 has: a micro cable 12 of an electroconductive material; and a coating of electroinsulative material, forming a network of active stimulating electrodes 14, 16 at the distal end thereof and having a free active part including a plurality of separated coating pealing area to contact a wall of the target vein. The active free part has a proximal waveform part having a first class of electrode 14, a distal waveform part having a second class of electrode 16, and a middle part 20 crossing an anastomosis part 22 connecting the end parts of two veins (VA, VPL). Consequently, two classes of electrodes 14, 16 can be arranged in two different veins defining two separated stimulating areas.
