PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive application method and adhesive application apparatus of a piezoelectric vibrator which obtain stable characteristics.;SOLUTION: The adhesive application apparatus includes: a dispenser 1 applying a liquid adhesive to a base 61 of a package; a moving part 2 conducting moving operation to the dispenser 1; a beam sensor 3; a sensor moving part 4 conducting moving operation to the beam sensor; and a control part 5 integrally controlling the operations of the components. The liquid adhesive is discharged and held at an adhesive discharge port of the dispenser 1, and then a beam B of the beam sensor measures the height of the liquid adhesive to specify the size of the liquid adhesive.
