PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for a heat shielding building excellent in countermeasures for convection heat, conduction heat, radiation heat and surface dew condensation and in workability, and to provide the heat shielding building and an aluminum heat-ray reflective material.;SOLUTION: The construction method includes mounting the aluminum heat-ray reflective material on the outdoor side of a column/stud, a pole plate and a bedsill, mounting ventilation furring strips at spaces on the outdoor side of the aluminum heat-ray reflective material, mounting an outer wall finishing material on the outdoor side of the ventilation furring strips, attaching an airtight tape to the indoor side of the aluminum heat-ray reflective material at its boundary with the space sections of the column/stud, the pole plate and the bedsill, spraying hard urethane resin foamable liquid foamed at a site into the space sections, mounting an inner wall substrate on the indoor side of the stud, and mounting an inner wall finishing material on the indoor side of the inner wall substrate. The aluminum heat-ray reflective material, which is formed by bonding an aluminum foil to a resin bubble sheet, has a thin edge piece which has no bubble at one or both ends.
