PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-layer liquid crystal display or the like which is capable of flexibly adapting to an order and reducing inventory risk.SOLUTION: A multi-layer liquid crystal display comprises: a first liquid crystal panel part; a second liquid crystal panel part which is disposed at the back side of the first liquid crystal panel part; a spacer provided between the first liquid crystal panel part and the second liquid crystal panel part; and a light-emitting unit that serves as a light source for the first liquid crystal panel part and the second liquid crystal panel part. The first liquid crystal panel part, the spacer, the second liquid crystal panel part and the light-emitting unit are easily separable from each other. When the first liquid crystal display part and the second liquid crystal display part are separated, each of them can respectively constitute a single-layer liquid crystal display by combining with the separated light-emitting unit.
