PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hardening resin composition for a liquid crystal display device, a sealing agent for a liquid crystal display device, a port-sealing agent for a liquid crystal display device, and a vertical conducting material for a liquid crystal display device which have excellent adhesion property, moisture-resistant adhesion property and contamination preventing property for a liquid crystal, to provide a liquid crystal display device produced by using the above materials, more particularly, to provide a sealing agent for a liquid crystal display device, a port-sealing agent for a liquid crystal display device, and a vertical conducting material for a liquid crystal display device which are particularly suitable for the manufacture of a liquid crystal display device by a dropping method because the component in the hardening resin composition for a liquid crystal display device does not elute in the liquid crystal material to induce contamination of the liquid crystal, and to provide a liquid crystal display device produced by using the above materials.;SOLUTION: The hardening resin composition for a liquid crystal display device contains an alkoxysilane compound having 500 molecular weight.
