PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately perform money reception processings for proceeds including a money reception-disabled medium, such as a damaged bill, a damaged coin, a gift certificate. PSOLUTION: A proceeds reception system has: a proceeds reception machine 100, having an operation reception part 102 receiving information of the money reception-disabled medium included in the proceeds; a receipt issuance part 104 issuing a receipt including information of a processing number allocated to the money reception processing of the proceeds; a storage part 115 storing whether the money reception processing is completed; and a control part 114 receiving reading number information, collating the reading number information and the processing number stored in the storage part, and completing the money reception processing of the processing number, according to the reading number information; and an envelope reception device 200, having a reading part 201 provided in an input port 202 inputted with an envelope storing the money reception-disabled medium and the receipt, reading processing number information of the receipt, and a control part 203 transmitting the read processing number information to the control part 114 as the reading number information.
