PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a detergent composition for a hard surface, excellent in bactericidal stability without spoiling bactericidal performance.;SOLUTION: The detergent composition for the hard surface contains (a) an abrasive (hereinafter referred to as (a) component), (b) a polyacrylic acid based thickener (hereinafter referred to as (b) component), (c) a quaternary ammonium salt type antibacterial agent (hereinafter referred to as (c) component), (d) polycarboxylic acid having 3 to 6 carboxyl groups in a molecule (hereinafter referred to as (d) component) and water.
